Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance by throwing punches at each other. Competitors score points based on the accuracy and effectiveness of their strikes, and fights can be won by points, knockout (KO), or technical knockout (TKO). Boxing matches take place in a square ring, and they are usually divided into rounds, with breaks in between. The sport has various weight classes to ensure fair competition and is governed by specific rules which include legal and illegal strikes, as well as regulations regarding safety and conduct. Boxing has a long history and is also a popular form of fitness training and self-defense.
